About The Position

The Quality Inspector I is responsible for receiving, in-process, and final quality inspections. The role inspects parts for defects and verifies work against travelers, specifications, and customer requirements. It also verifies the implementation of corrective actions and may include other duties assigned by supervision or management. Work may involve non-traditional hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Ability to read drawings.
• Ability to interpret specifications.
• Ability to use a micrometer and calipers.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts for foreign object debris (FOD), scratches, dings, and other defects.
• Inspect painted parts for fish-eyes, orange peel, drips, runs, coverage, and other finish issues.
• Verify that all previous operations have been completed on the traveler.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Verify the implementation of corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision or management.
