About The Position

Zingerman's Bakehouse is hiring our Seasonal Pastry and Bread Baking Crew to work making and/or packaging hand crafted, artisan pastries and bread to be enjoyed all over the country! Join our experienced and dedicated team to create some of the best baked goods in Michigan. NO BAKING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! We’ll train you. Requirements

• Ability to stand, lift and bend for up to 8-hours, with breaks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to work with repetitive motion including fine manipulation of hands and fingers
• Availability to work 40 hours for each week in November and December

Nice To Haves

• Baking experience is not required, training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Measuring ingredients to make our Sour Cream Coffee Cake
• Packaging and labeling our Ginger Jump Up Cookies
• Weighing batter into pans for our Magic Brownies
• Shaping our Better than Sourdough Bread
• Washing and chopping apples for our Apple Pies
• Rolling our Cinnful Cinnamon Rolls
