About The Position

This is a seasonal, part-time Floor Staff position based in the concession stand. The role involves alcohol sales, requiring the server to be of legal age with all necessary permits and licenses. Key responsibilities include exceptional guest service, handling money and merchandise, operating and cleaning concession equipment, and adhering to all opening, closing, and in-between show procedures. The position also requires knowledge of emergency procedures, sales techniques like upselling, counterfeit bill detection, and compliance with food safety laws and dress code. Ensuring guest satisfaction through positive interactions is paramount. Accuracy in cash drawers, inventory, and coupons is essential. The role also involves completing a cast certification program and understanding training materials on topics such as sexual harassment and discrimination.

Requirements

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
  • Possess all applicable training permits and licenses to serve alcohol according to state and local laws.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to all laws and legal obligations regarding the serving of alcohol.
  • Knowledge of all coupons and on-going promotions.
  • Knowledge of and promotion of Regal Crown Club Program.
  • Knowledge and enforcement of the MPAA rating system.
  • Exceptional guest service skills.
  • Ability to handle all monies and merchandise (including non-saleable and saleable).
  • Ability to operate, prepare and clean all concession related equipment.
  • Ability to properly use all concession related storerooms.
  • Ability to properly use all cleaning materials per MSDS.
  • Knowledge of all concession opening, closing and in between show procedures.
  • Knowledge of all emergency, evacuation and robbery procedures.
  • Excellent sales techniques, including up selling and suggestive selling.
  • Knowledge of counterfeit bill procedures.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with all local, state and federal food safety laws.
  • Knowledge and compliance of dress code.
  • Ability to ensure guest satisfaction – smile, greet, and thank all guests.
  • Responsible for accuracy of cash drawers, inventory, and coupons.
  • Knowledgeable of correct popper operation and emergency procedures.
  • Abide by all federal and state laws with regards to breaks and/or meal periods.
  • Completion of progress towards completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as a concessionist.
  • Required to read and understand training materials that will cover subjects such as sexual harassment and discrimination.
  • Possess good public speaking, listen effectively and respond clearly and directly.
  • Perform calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors.
  • Identify problems, gather relevant data and note possible causes of problems.
  • Evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives and reach conclusions based on evidence.
