About The Position
Goebbert's Farm is seeking friendly, courteous, and respectful employees with a strong focus on customer service for various seasonal part-time positions during their Fall Festival. The Fall Festival runs from September 5th through November 1st. Applicants must be 16 years or older (21 or older for Security Team) and available at least 10 hours per week, with the busiest days being Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. While the farm will work around availability, greater availability increases the likelihood of employment. Training is mandatory for all positions, including a New Hire Training on August 31st and Department Specific Training from September 1st to September 3rd. Applicants unable to attend training must communicate this in their application. Interviews will begin in July, and positions start in September. Employees are expected to notify the farm if they are unable to commit to the full employment period.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years old or older (21 or older for Security Team)
- Available at least 10 hours per week
- Available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
- Able to attend mandatory training: August 31st (New Hire), September 1st-3rd (Department Specific)
- Food Handler Certification required for Food Service Team Member and Donut Crew Member
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (Donut Crew Member)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (Grounds Crew Member, Attractions Attendant, Corn Crew, Security Team, Parking Lot Crew)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (Parking Lot Crew)
- Comfortable working in a semi-outdoor setting (Retail Sales Associate & Cashier)
- Ability to lift light to moderate items (Retail Sales Associate & Cashier)
- Responsible individuals (Security Team)
