About The Position

The City of O'Fallon, MO is looking to hire a knowledgeable and dependable Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker to work on outside maintenance projects throughout the summer season. This position involves working each day in the beautiful city grounds of O'Fallon's parks. The role offers competitive pay with an expected starting rate of $15.85 hourly and operates from March through November. Flexibility is offered, with options to work from May through August to accommodate back-to-school schedules. As part of the Parks Department, the worker will assist in the routine outside maintenance of City parks. Individuals must be able to work a flexible schedule, with varying hours that include weekends, evenings, and holidays. Typical weekday hours are Monday-Friday from 7 am-3:45 pm, with various hours on weekends for park system maintenance, special events, and tournaments.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old
The ability to lift and carry 50 pounds 100 feet
The ability to stand for extended periods of time
The ability to withstand weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license
