About The Position
The Elmhurst Park District, established in 1920 and located 16 miles west of Chicago, provides parks, recreation facilities and programs to meet our mission of enriching lives while having fun. Our vision is to become a national leader in providing parks and recreation experiences to our community. We're hiring SEASONAL PARKS LABORERS to join our Parks Department team this fall.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Illinois driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to spend 95% of work time performing physical labor, standing, and/or walking
Responsibilities
- Mowing grass
- Fall leaf clean up
- Water route
- Trail maintenance
- Trash collection
- Tree care
