About The Position

Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop. This is a seasonal role for a Weekend Grill Team Member, requiring the individual to be at least 18 years old and work Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm. The estimated hourly pay range is $17.25-$17.75 based on experience and qualifications. Depending on the weekend, the role may be performed indoors or outdoors, involving greeting and assisting customers, managing wait lines, assembling and prepping food items, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include answering product questions, offering recommendations, and weighing and pricing product orders.
