About The Position

The Seasonal Operations Associate supports store goals during peak and high-volume business periods by delivering exceptional guest experiences and bringing the ALO Brand Mission to life. Through authentic connection, product expertise, and personalized service, this role drives operational excellence, builds customer loyalty, and contributes to a high-performing team environment.

This part-time seasonal position supports inventory management, shipment processing, replenishment, visual standards, stockroom operations, and other store needs. Associates are expected to work up to 20 hours per week, with shifts of at least four hours, based on business needs. All employees must be available during the company’s blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving—including Thanksgiving weekend and Black Friday—through January 22.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior work experience in a client-centric sales and operational environment.
• Ability to lift, push, carry, or otherwise move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and/or twist, and safely climb up and down a ladder.
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.
• Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
• Self-motivated, with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to work during the company blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving through January 22.
• Alignment with and embodiment of ALO’s Guiding Principles.

Responsibilities

• Execute inventory management processes, maximizing inventory accuracy and reducing shrink.
• Investigate the root causes of inventory accuracy issues and partner with the General/Store Manager to escalate process or system gaps.
• Support shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intraday replenishment, floor-set updates, and supply management.
• Maintain and champion strong visual standards on the sales floor.
• Support reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
• Maintain a safe work environment and efficient operations through strong stockroom standards and processes.
• Move dynamically around the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.
• Execute company-level operations-focused directives, projects, and initiatives in partnership with the Operations & Visual Management team.
• Assist with shipment processing and product flow, including visual merchandising placement and daily replenishment.
• Use business metrics to support strategies that drive business results.
• Resolve client needs quickly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify product concerns and communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
• Take initiative to perform other tasks as needed to keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and operating efficiently.
