About The Position

The Seasonal Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate helps foster a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and follows established customer experience and store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Ring customer purchases and returns accurately and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow the company’s merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
• Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
