About The Position

The Seasonal Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience practices, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is at Marshalls Store 1160 in Spokane, Washington.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Uphold the merchandising philosophy and follow merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
