About The Position

The Seasonal Merchandise Associate delivers a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and applying established customer experience practices. The role helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe store; follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards; and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience.
• Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Uphold the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
