About The Position
The Seasonal Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The associate follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple areas to support business needs. The role models established customer experience practices, supports a positive store culture, processes customer purchases and returns, promotes credit and loyalty programs, and prepares and maintains merchandise for the sales floor. The associate participates in store recovery, cleanliness, safety awareness, and shrink-reduction efforts; follows applicable labor laws and company procedures; and gives and receives recognition and constructive feedback. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.
- Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
