About The Position

The Seasonal Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. Associates help process transactions and merchandise, promote credit and loyalty programs, maintain store recovery and cleanliness, support shrink reduction and safety efforts, and contribute to a positive store culture.

Responsibilities

• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
