Seasonal Merchandise Associate
About The Position
The Seasonal Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role includes serving customers at checkout, promoting credit and loyalty programs, processing merchandise for the sales floor, maintaining merchandising and recovery standards, and supporting store safety and shrink-reduction efforts. Associates contribute to a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
