About The Position

The Seasonal Merch Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position also supports a positive store culture and participates in store safety and shrink-reduction efforts.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact with customers while following customer-experience practices.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Ring customer purchases and returns accurately and count change according to established procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
