About The Position

Foot Locker is holding open interviews for Seasonal Material Handler and Seasonal Equipment Operator positions. These positions are located at their distribution center at 10 Isidor Ct., Sparks, NV 89441. Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods.
• Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling and moving weights of 0-25 pounds constantly and 25-40 pounds occasionally and over 40 pounds seldomly with or without assistance as needed.
• Ability to move up to 40 pounds at least 25 feet in distance occasionally with assistance as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read, write, conduct business-related mathematics, and analyze data as required
• Basic proficiency in speaking and understanding English to comprehend safety instructions, participate in safety drills and effectively communicate in case of emergencies
• 6+ months of previous experience in a warehouse facility preferred (for Material Handler)
• 6+ months of previous relevant equipment operations experience (for Equipment Operator)
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Accurately use and operate an RF scanning device
• Efficiently and accurately process orders by packing merchandise for shipment to stores and customers
• Unload merchandise for processing and load merchandise for shipment
• Process Return To Vendor, returned and liquidation items
• Safely operate all equipment within the distribution center, including order picker, swing reach truck, reach truck, and any other machines as needed
• Ensure all assigned equipment is fully operational at beginning of shift and at full capacity, including checking for damage and reporting all damages or malfunctions to supervisor immediately
• Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights and maneuver equipment in and around tight corners, through staging areas, and around pedestrian traffic in a safe manner
• Perform routine inspections and cleaning on assigned equipment and refer any defects or needed repairs to the supervisor or maintenance team

• 3rd shift differential: $1.25 per hour worked
