Seasonal Maintenance Worker

This position is considered a seasonal position and will work intermittently on an as needed basis. This position may have the ability to work into a full-time position at a later date. In this position, the successful applicant will assist the County Highway Department on a variety of road projects throughout the season.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Possesses or may obtain a Class A license at the time of hire.
- CDL License is required on the first day.
- Knowledge of relevant safety practices.
- Knowledge of related tools, machinery, and equipment utilized in road repair activities.
- Capacity to take direction.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, repair, and maintenance activities on County roadways and ditches.
- Work in the elements while performing work safely and responsibly.
- Protect and enhance the current roadway infrastructure within the County.
- Courteously serve constituents in a manner consistent with Core Values.
