Lifeguards provide vital services at Sifton’s Berkshire Club for the outdoor pool throughout the summer. Not yet certified? We’ll pay for your National Lifeguard Certification (conditions apply). Requirements

Must be available to work weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a lifeguard is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety of swimmers at the Berkshire Club.
Enforce pool and safety regulations as posted.
Perform maintenance duties and accurately record these duties as outlined in the Daily Record Log. Examples of duties include, but are not limited to: check and maintain the colour, chemistry, cleanliness and clarity of the pool water, reading and recording ORP readings, vacuuming pool as required, daily backwashes, sweep and/or hose deck, clean and maintain the pool deck throughout the shift, return flutter boards, noodles, life jackets and other items used on deck to their appropriate storage.
