About The Position
The Lifeguard's primary responsibility is the safety of the owners and guests at the resort. This position is the first responder for any incident that may occur in the pool area(s). They will be required to provide medical attention or conduct a water rescue if necessary.
Requirements
- Certified or ability to become certified: CPR / First Aid certified, Water Safety.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with employees, guest and owners.
- Possess ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- A professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude with team focus.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the pool and surrounding areas.
- Ensure that the pool area is safe and secure at all times.
- Communicate with guests to make them aware of the safety rules of the pool area(s).
- Provide medical attention and conduct water rescues if necessary.
- Assist with resort activities and events in the pool area.
