About The Position

This is a seasonal position from October to February, where employees will professionally install, maintain, and remove Holiday light systems at residential and commercial customer locations. The company is looking for great people and notes that performance in this position may lead to other opportunities within the company. During the slow period of January-February, employees will assist in the Lawn Department.

Requirements

No specific Holiday Lighting experience is required.
Must be comfortable with heights – you will climb ladders reaching heights of 20–30 feet, as well as work on pitched roofs.
Ability to work outside for long periods of time.
Able to lift 20+ pounds from ground to roof on a ladder.
Capable of safely moving and using heavy extension ladders (training provided).
Must have reliable transportation to our shop.
Some Saturdays during peak installation season (November-December).
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Ladder/Roof/Tree/Aerial Lift work experience would be great but is not required.
Any outdoor, manual labor experience is preferred as our line of work can be physically demanding.

Responsibilities

Always maintain a positive attitude with customers, fellow employees, and supervisors.
Receive full training on ladder safety and fall-restraint systems when working on roofs.
Work with a 3-person team of experienced Holiday Light installers to custom create, install and take-down holiday light systems at customer properties.
Work from ladders and on roofs.
Ensure the safety of yourself and others on your team by maintaining our safety standards.
Assist in the Lawn Department during the slow period of Jan – Feb.
