About The Position

This role is based in Tampa, FL. As a Seasonal Landscape Crew Member, you will be a vital part of the landscaping team, responsible for performing various tasks on residential and commercial landscaping projects. This includes working collaboratively to complete landscape installations, maintenance, and enhancements, ensuring all work meets the company's high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in landscaping or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices, plant care, and equipment operation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of various landscape elements, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and turf.
• Help with the construction of hardscapes such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, and mulching to ensure the upkeep and health of landscapes.
• Prepare job sites by clearing debris, leveling soil, and setting up necessary equipment.
• Ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and according to project specifications.
• Operate landscaping tools and machinery, such as lawn mowers, blowers, edgers, and hand tools.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
• Ensure that all work is completed to company standards and client specifications.
• Conduct final inspections of completed tasks to confirm quality and address any issues.
• Work effectively with other crew members, following instructions from supervisors and assisting with various tasks as needed.
• Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while on the job site.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow best practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Represent GreenScape Landscaping Solutions professionally on job sites.
• Address any client questions or concerns courteously and report feedback to supervisors.
