About The Position

The City of Auburn Hills is seeking a Seasonal Laborer for the Department of Public Works (DPW). This role involves performing a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks under the supervision of a Crew Leader. The position requires physical strength and the ability to operate various hand and power equipment. Seasonal workers at Auburn Hills have the opportunity to experience variety in their work across different city divisions and make a difference in the community. The DPW is comprised of six divisions: Municipal Properties (Facilities and Grounds), Public Utilities (Water and Sewer), and Fleet and Roads. The department has over 40 full-time employees, supplemented by part-time and seasonal staff.

Requirements

• Must have valid driver's license and meet City driving history requirements.
