About The Position

Gunnison County Public Works Department is seeking a seasonal employee to assist with various road projects and other tasks. This role involves flagging, culvert cleaning, fencing, tree and brush removal, sign installation, vehicle and equipment maintenance, assisting at the recycling center and landfill, and trail work. The position offers a 4-day work week with potential for overtime.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Have a valid Colorado Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Flagging for various road projects
• Cleaning out culverts
• Fencing
• Tree and brush removal
• Sign installation
• Servicing and cleaning pickup trucks and equipment
• Assisting the recycling center and landfill
• Trail work
