About The Position

We are seeking motivated, dependable seasonal high school laborers to support our construction, operations teams, facilities and office during peak season. These position involve hands-on fieldwork assisting in the installation of fiber infrastructure, burying fiber drops post-installation, performing grounds maintenance such as mowing and trimming around central offices and fiber huts or office work as needed. Ideal candidates enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and can work well as part of a team.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver’s license preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.

Responsibilities

• Assist construction teams with laying and installing underground fiber optic cables.
• Bury fiber drop lines from the main line to customer premises after installations.
• Perform general maintenance and landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and cleanup around company facilities.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and tools to and from job sites.
• Assist Office staff as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
