About The Position

Martin/Martin, Inc. is searching for outstanding engineering students to join our Structural Engineering Group as summer interns at our Kansas City, MO office. This opportunity will focus mainly on new building structural design, but interns may also have the chance to gain experience in technical research, renovation of existing buildings, and Building Information Modeling (BIM). During a typical work week, interns work on engineering calculations, developing drawings, visiting sites, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and supporting internal technical projects.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Civil or Architectural Engineering, having completed at least a junior-level program
  • High school diploma
  • Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to commute and attend programming in the work location where the Internship is based (Kansas City, MO)
  • Ability to work in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Attention to detail
  • Eager to learn
  • Ability to work independently and ask questions as needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
