About The Position

The Seasonal ICQA Team Member role is a critical position within the Distribution Center, focusing on inventory accuracy and defect resolution. This role supports operational teams by auditing and resolving inventory defects within stored locations, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The team member will research and document root causes of defects to improve inventory accuracy and prevent downstream order cancellations. This position involves working safely, potentially utilizing powered equipment, and collaborating with leaders to communicate audit findings and resolution steps. The role also utilizes lean approaches, Six Sigma tools, and 5S techniques for cleanliness and root cause analysis. The seasonal position supports the ICQA team during peak volume and may last up to 175 days.

Requirements

  • 2 years prior work experience as a warehouse worker, operations technician, quality control technician, or similar warehouse operator.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-45 lbs. frequently throughout a shift and up to 60lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to read, utilize matching skills and comprehend department/product documentation.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to operate computer systems with minimal direction after receiving training.
  • Ability to research defects/issues and root cause the drivers of those defects.
  • Ability to navigate web-based ICQA reporting and forms (such as Smartsheet) with minimal direction after training.
  • Ability to perform basic data entry and analysis in excel or other web based forms.
  • Ability to be trained on powered equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and resolve inventory defects within assigned Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Research and document root causes of defects for follow-up and improvement of inventory accuracy.
  • Respond to defects found in warehouse locations, potentially utilizing powered equipment.
  • Perform weekly audits and collaborate with ICQA Leaders and operational leaders on findings and resolution steps.
  • Utilize lean approaches, Six Sigma tools, and 5S techniques for workplace cleanliness and defect documentation.
  • Correct inventory record inaccuracies in the warehouse and conduct follow-up audits.
  • Address inaccuracies that impede operational teams from picking product to prevent order cancellations.
  • Manage multiple priorities and processes while offering exceptional service.
  • Anticipate leaders' needs and proactively solve problems.
