About The Position

The Seasonal ICQA Team Member supports the operational teams and the ICQA Leader in defect resolution, specifically focused on inventory within stored locations in the building. This role involves auditing and resolving defects within an assigned Service Level Agreement (SLA), and then researching and documenting the root cause for follow-up to improve inventory accuracy. The position requires working safely, responding to defects found in warehouse locations, often utilizing powered equipment, and performing weekly audits. Findings and resolution steps are communicated with the ICQA Leader and other operational leaders. The role utilizes lean approaches, six sigma tools, and 5S techniques to drive cleanliness and documentation of defects for root cause analysis. Problem-solving skills are used to correct inventory record inaccuracies and conduct follow-up audits. This role also addresses inaccuracies that impede operational teams from picking product, helping to prevent downstream order cancellations. The Seasonal ICQA Team Member must manage multiple priorities and processes while offering excellent service. This position is seasonal and will support the ICQA team during peak volume, with seasonal employment lasting up to 175 days from hire. The schedule is Weekday Days (Tuesday - Friday).

Requirements

  • 2 years prior work experience as a warehouse worker, operations technician, quality control technician, or similar warehouse operator.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-45 lbs. frequently throughout a shift and up to 60lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to read, utilize matching skills and comprehend department/product documentation.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to operate computer systems with minimal direction after receiving training.
  • Ability to research defects/issues and root cause the drivers of those defects.
  • Ability to navigate web-based ICQA reporting and forms (such as Smartsheet) with minimal direction after training.
  • Ability to perform basic data entry and analysis in excel or other web based forms.
  • Ability to be trained on powered equipment as needed.

Responsibilities
