About The Position

Tower Water, a long-standing water treatment company, is seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals with a can-do attitude to join our team for the busy Fall season. This entry-level, temporary position offers a dynamic schedule and exposure to various construction environments. Successful candidates will assist technicians with tower cleanings, disinfections, piping system treatments, and other related tasks. This role has a high potential for return in the Spring season and is first in line for any full-time openings.

Requirements

• Must be a responsive individual that is enthusiastic about having a schedule that changes regularly and be able to adapt into all types of construction environments.
• Reliable and willing to meet the technician as early as 5:00 a.m. to travel to jobsites.
• Ability to lift 40-70 pounds.
• Work in high locations (not afraid of heights).
• Work in inclement weather/conditions (33°F to 102°F).
• Submit to pre-employment background check.
• Ability to pass a physical.
• Must have work boots and pants.
• Exhibits a "can-do" attitude in all facets of the business.
• Understands the value of reputation.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver’s license preferred but not required.
• SST card preferred but not required.
• OSHA certification preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in pipe fitting and working on construction sites is preferred.
• Relevant experience in similar manual labor positions is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technicians with tower cleanings and disinfections (protective equipment is provided).
• Assist Technicians to flush, clean, and treat piping systems using specialized equipment and chemicals.
• Connect hoses to simple systems.
• Run make-up & drain and disconnect them.
• Rolling of hoses.
• Load and unload work van.
• Other related tasks as directed by Technician or Field Manager.
