About The Position

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help create excellent experiences on Santa photo sets by supporting the team, welcoming families, assisting with photos, and keeping daily operations running smoothly. You’ll bring warmth, energy, and leadership to every shift while helping create a joyful holiday experience guests will remember for years to come.

The role includes opening and closing the assigned venue, reinforcing operational policies and procedures, helping train or recruit team members as needed, troubleshooting technical issues, and escalating issues to IT or local management when necessary. Team Leads also take photos, provide guest service, operate point-of-sale systems and photography equipment, and help maintain safe, clean, efficient photo operations.

This is seasonal holiday work at Charleston Town Center. Scheduling is flexible, with availability needed during peak retail periods, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Photography experience is not required.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work during peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to process sales transactions and comfort with cash handling.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties at the assigned venue.
• Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by the Operations Manager or Regional Manager.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate them to IT or Local Management when needed.
• Assist with training and/or recruiting as needed.
• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
• Provide excellent guest service throughout the experience.
• Participate as a team member to ensure photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
• Engage in a friendly manner with guests, staff, and coworkers.
• Operate the POS system and photography equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
