About The Position

As a Shift Lead, you will help create excellent experiences on the Santa photo sets at Santa Monica Place by supporting the team, welcoming families, assisting with photos, and keeping daily operations running smoothly. You will bring warmth, energy, and leadership to each shift while helping create a joyful holiday experience guests will remember.

The role involves guiding team members, supporting daily operations, troubleshooting issues, and helping deliver smooth guest experiences. Photography experience is not required. Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.

This is a seasonal role with flexible scheduling. Employees should be available during peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties at the assigned venue.
• Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by the Operations Manager or Regional Manager.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate them to IT or local management when needed.
• Assist with training and/or recruiting as needed.
• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home.
• Provide excellent guest service throughout the experience.
• Participate as a team member to ensure photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
• Engage in a friendly manner with guests, staff, and coworkers.
• Operate the POS system and photography equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
