About The Position

A well-maintained, safe, smoothly functioning environment sets the stage for teaching, fellowship, and worship—allowing people to come together, know Jesus, and obey His teachings. The Seasonal Groundskeeper is responsible for keeping the church’s grounds safe, clean, and attractive.

Requirements

• Previous lawn care and maintenance experience required.
• Valid PA Driver’s License.
• Able to be on your feet for the shift.
• Physical stamina to handle constant physical demands of stooping, pushing, lifting, shoveling, etc.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns and flower beds.
• Trim and shape trees and shrubs.
• Control weed growth in drainage ditches and fence rows.
• Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees to maintain a seasonal color design.
• Maintain a neat property appearance.
• Maintain tools and equipment by sharpening, servicing, repairing, or scheduling major repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
