About The Position

The Country Club of Rochester is a prestigious Platinum Club of America and one of the country's oldest clubs with deep roots in the community. This is a great chance to be part of a devoted team who takes pride in providing excellent golf course conditions. We are seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to fill the Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Position! Under the general guidance and supervision of the Grounds Superintendent, Grounds Maintenance is responsible for all aspects of golf course maintenance, grounds maintenance, and overall property care.

Requirements

• Must be very organized and focused on accomplishing assignments
• Must be able to arrive for very early morning start times that vary based on sunrise and golf event start times
• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with the mowing and maintenance of a large property, a golf course, and grounds features.

Responsibilities

• Mowing of approaches, tees, greens, and rough areas
• Raking, weeding, and other maintenance of sand bunkers
• Repairing ball marks and seeding divots
• Repairing, soiling, and seeding areas
• Watering of turfgrass
• Repairing of paths and roadways
• General trimming of property areas and landscaped areas
• Cleaning of grounds and related equipment
• Cleaning of ground shop and related areas
• All other grounds and building maintenance activities that need to be accomplished
• Responsible for assisting in presenting an organized and professional maintenance facility compound.
