About The Position

Mile High Flea Market is looking for a dependable, hands-on Grounds Maintenance Support team member to help maintain our buildings, grounds, equipment, and overall property. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, completing a variety of projects, and seeing immediate results. No two days are exactly the same, you may be painting or making repairs one day and assisting with landscaping, equipment maintenance, or a special event the next. You will play an important role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our guests, sellers, and employees.

Requirements

  • General working knowledge of landscaping equipment, including zero-turn mowers and trimmers.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical repairs, painting, and carpentry.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work safely and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
  • Dependable, professional, and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities.
  • A positive, hands-on, “can-do” attitude.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must be able to safely operate golf carts, landscaping equipment, and company vehicles.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in property maintenance, landscaping, construction, hotel maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform painting, patching, and general property upkeep.
  • Maintain buildings, food stands, seller spaces, offices, warehouses, rides, fencing, and other market areas.
  • Complete light carpentry and basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and repair work.
  • Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance using equipment such as zero-turn mowers and trimmers.
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of carts, wagons, tools, and other equipment.
  • Perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance as directed.
  • Complete maintenance inspections and required work-order documentation.
  • Support special events, property projects, and operational needs.
  • Keep maintenance shops and storage areas clean, safe, and organized.
  • Assist with inventory control of tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Safely operate golf carts and company vehicles.
  • Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and department procedures.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor.
