About The Position

Join Casey's as a Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Technician! This role is based at our Store Support Center in Ankeny, IA and you'll be responsible for maintenance of the campus grounds and landscape. The anticipated length of this seasonal role is May - September and flexible hours are available.

Requirements

• Operate power equipment, tractors, and light machinery.
• Work is performed on both the exterior and interior of the Store Support Center campus.
• Ability to perform physical labor, such as lifting, carrying, and loading supplies and operating equipment for a prolonged period.
• Occasional bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have the physical ability to drive a vehicle for job related travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors with attachments, such as mowers and tillers to landscape and maintain grounds, including lawn areas, sidewalks, and parking lots.
• Operate and maintains power and hand mowing equipment.
• Water, weed, hoe, spray, and remove dead blossoms in flowerbeds.
• Trim hedges and shrubs, dig up bulbs, and transplant shrubs and trees.
• Perform other duties as required to landscape and maintain Store Support Center grounds and buildings.
