About The Position

The Ginner Helper role is primarily responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing gin equipment. This role involves checking moisture content and trash levels of seed cotton prior to ginning, and assisting in the repair of equipment such as conveyor systems, trailers, and storage bins. The position also requires recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality, as well as suggesting changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase crew efficiency. The Ginner Helper will analyze and resolve work problems, perform activities similar to supervised workers, and conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure smooth gin operation. A strong emphasis is placed on safety orientation and adherence to all safety requirements.
