The Ginner Helper role is primarily responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing gin equipment. Requirements

• Checking moisture content and trash levels of seed cotton prior to ginning.
• Assisting in repairing equipment such as conveyor systems, trailers, and storage bins.
• Recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggesting changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
• Analyzing and resolving work problems, and/or assisting workers in solving work problems.
• Performing same activities as supervised workers.
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure that gin runs smoothly.
• Being safety oriented and always adhering to safety requirements.
