About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer-service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining merchandise and displays, staying current on product knowledge and advertised sales, and helping customers make buying decisions. This is a seasonal, part-time position. Starting pay is $17.13–$18.75 per hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Replenish and restock products on shelves and merchandise as required by merchandising guidelines.
• Remain a product expert through ongoing product-knowledge training.
• Stay knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor-merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs, making product recommendations based on that analysis, and promoting programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
