About The Position

Acker is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Seasonal Gift Wrapper to package wine, spirits, and related merchandise during the busy holiday season. The role involves preparing attractive gifts that meet customer expectations, providing customer service, handling delicate products carefully, and working efficiently in a fast-paced retail store. The position may also support checkout, merchandising, stocking, and light cleaning as needed. Work takes place in a retail store with frequent exposure to varying temperatures and conditions. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, is required. The pay range is $17–$18 per hour.

Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Prior experience in gift wrapping or packaging.

Responsibilities

Wrap wine bottles, gift sets, and other merchandise using paper, ribbons, bows, and other decorative materials.
Interact with customers to understand their needs and present gifts attractively and appropriately.
Handle delicate items carefully to prevent damage during wrapping.
Keep the wrapping station organized and well-stocked.
Work with cashiers and sales representatives to wrap customer purchases promptly after checkout.
Assist with merchandising, stocking, or light cleaning when not wrapping gifts.
Follow store policies for alcohol sales, including ensuring alcohol purchases are checked out before wrapping.
Work quickly during peak hours while maintaining quality.
Perform other tasks assigned by the manager or supervisors.
