Seasonal Gift Basket Maker
About The Position
Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring a seasonal Front of House Retail Team Member to make gift baskets and support customers in a bakery-cafe environment. Team members work with a dynamic team offering scratch-baked bread and pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches made with whole ingredients. This part-time position is approximately 15 hours per week and ends after the 2026 holiday season. Shifts vary week to week according to customer traffic and the time of year, and afternoon/evening availability is required. Saturdays are required when needed. All Kneaders Bakery & Cafe locations are closed every Sunday and on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have afternoon/evening availability.
- Must have a flexible schedule; shifts vary according to customer traffic and time of year.
- Must be available to work Saturdays when needed.
- Attentiveness to local, state, and federal food-handler and sanitation standards.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of customer service or retail experience; preferred but not required.
- A can-do attitude, active listening skills, and confidence suggesting products to guests.
Responsibilities
- Listen attentively to guests and suggest meal and gift items to new and returning customers.
- Work quickly, learn from mistakes, and look for opportunities to help other departments without being asked.
- Follow local, state, and federal food-handler and sanitation standards.
