About The Position
Nordstrom is hiring seasonal logistics employees for Fulfillment and Delivery at its The Grove store. The hiring event is Thursday, October 29, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; applicants may arrive at any time during the event without scheduling in advance. The interview process takes approximately one hour, and on-the-spot offers may be made for most roles. Applicants may bring a résumé, but it is not required. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, and applicants unable to attend the event may still be considered. The listed pay range for Fulfillment and Delivery is $18.85–$19.65 per hour. Pay offers depend on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Requirements
- Ability to move continuously for 6–8 hours per shift.
- Ability to frequently bend, twist, squat, flex, and reach.
- Ability to frequently grasp, manipulate items with fine hand movements, push, and pull.
- Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped merchandise and reach above the head.
- Ability to lift and carry the weights described in the physical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Handle merchandise and assist customers.
- Bend, twist, squat, flex, and reach frequently while moving continuously for 6–8 hours per shift.
- Use hands frequently for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
- Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting items above the head.
- Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- For stock/logistics roles, frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
