About The Position

This seasonal position is responsible for safely delivering liquid products to customers each day. The driver also keeps company delivery vehicles clean, assists with delivery-related projects, and provides a high level of service to customers and coworkers. The anticipated pay range is $20,000 to $60,000. Eastern is a family-owned and operated full-service propane and oil company serving New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Requirements

Valid CDL-B license.

Nice To Haves

Hazmat endorsement (not required).
Tanker endorsement (not required).

Responsibilities

Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport liquid fuel products in every weather condition and at any time, day or night.
Safely load and unload liquid fuel products, including pulling delivery hose up to 150 feet.
Use web-based platforms on a tablet, smartphone, laptop, and desktop to manage workflow and record data.
Maintain required licensure and comply with Eastern policies and procedures, state requirements, Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable regulatory standards.
Remain alert and focused and complete work safely.
Participate in safety meetings, training, and refreshers; alert a supervisor to unsafe actions; and model safety-conscious practices.
Perform system checks, including leak checks, according to SOPs, and restart system appliances.
Install and maintain tank monitors periodically and as needed.
Keep company delivery vehicles clean and assist with delivery-related projects.
Provide a high level of service to customers and coworkers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
