Seasonal Forklift Operator - 1st Shift
About The Position
This seasonal role is for a Forklift Operator on the 1st shift, with a pay rate of $18.75/hr. The shift is Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:00 pm, with potential for overtime including Saturdays. The role is expected to last through the facility’s peak season, with employment potentially ending earlier or extending slightly depending on workload and business needs. Requirements
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience - required
- 6+ months previous order picker or turret experience - required
- Ability to work at heights of 20ft or more - required
- Proven success working in fast-paced, physically demanding seasonal periods
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop, and lift 50lbs throughout 8 to 10-hour shift
Responsibilities
- Safely operate an order picker or turret to perform case pick duties
- Organize and stow products in the correct location within the facility
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts as needed
- Other duties on or off the forklift equipment as assigned to support business needs
- Adherence to all safety policies – steel toes required
