About The Position

This role is responsible for washing company equipment using high-pressure washer equipment with detergents and chemicals, working in all climates. The position also involves moving tractor and trailers in the yard and in and out of the wash bay. A flexible work schedule and occasional holiday work are required.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Valid driver's license is required.
Ability to work in all climate and weather conditions.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with minimal supervision.
Actively able to perform essential job functions as determined by Human Resources.

One to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

Washing company equipment using high pressure washer equipment with detergents and chemicals.
Working in all climates and weather conditions.
Moving tractor and trailers in the yard, and in and out of the wash bay.
Operating a Tractor-Trailer in truck yard and equipment staging areas.
Transporting equipment in and out of truck wash bay for cleaning.
Parking cleaned tractors in assigned parking spots.
Fueling corporate equipment as required.
Maintaining a clean work environment and performing janitorial duties as requested.
Using onsite fueling equipment to properly fuel tractors and trailers as needed.
Cleaning up oil and fuel spills in the yard.
Notifying proper onsite personnel and regulatory agencies of any spills as required by applicable laws.
Performing courier duties as assigned.
Working with chemicals used in the washing process.
Maintaining equipment wash and fuel records.
Reporting any damaged equipment and missing load locks and pallet jacks.
Following the Sargento Code of Business and Personal Ethics.
Actively performing essential job functions as determined by Human Resources.
Performing other duties deemed essential to the operation of the fleet.
