Under general supervision, the Seasonal EVS Supervisor oversees and coordinates the Racing EVS Attendants on their shifts to ensure the cleanliness of public areas meet Oaklawn standards and Core Values. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of the Casino and public areas, conducting daily tours to ensure work completion and adherence to standards, maintaining shift logs, and ensuring safe work habits. The supervisor also responds to cleaning requests, identifies supply needs, assures guest service, and is responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and developing EVS attendants. Additionally, the role involves providing leadership, excellent guest service, cooperation with team members, maintaining professional relationships, adhering to company policies and regulations, and staying informed of company communications. The supervisor must also effectively communicate concerns and ideas, report unsafe behavior, and maintain a positive attitude consistent with company values. Punctual attendance and the ability to work overtime are required. The role requires the ability to use cleaning equipment, possess superior attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong guest service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, supervisory skills, excellent verbal skills, and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor. Communication via hand-held radio and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are also necessary, along with flexibility and adaptability.
