About The Position

The Seasonal Events Associate performs duties associated with store events and takes on short-term assignments and seasonal events to support the store throughout the year. The role supports a world-class customer service experience by helping customers make buying decisions, recommending products, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. The associate assists with seasonal event execution, facilitates in-house outdoor skills workshops, and participates in scheduled store events. The position works under general supervision, following established procedures while using innovation and occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and recommend improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to perform data entry and analyze reports and ledgers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and other associates.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to function in a noisy and hectic environment with children and parents.
• Ability to meet the position’s physical requirements, including standing or walking throughout the shift and occasionally lifting or moving objects weighing up to 100 pounds, using a team lift as needed.

• Facilitate in-house outdoor skills workshops.
• Participate in scheduled store events.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and safe.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
