About The Position

This role involves potential assignments such as dumping and loading railcars and trucks, assisting with grain handling, operating a grain dryer, performing general housekeeping duties, and general maintenance as needed. The position requires a commitment to safety and adherence to company policies, including the ADM Code of Conduct. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and exhibit regular attendance. The job also demands the ability to meet physical requirements, including prolonged standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and at heights, bending, kneeling, climbing, working in various environmental conditions, lifting up to 50 pounds, and wearing a respirator. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends is necessary. The role requires initiative for independent work while also being adaptable to teamwork. Professionalism, a positive attitude, and the ability to work near or around fertilizers are essential. Specific duties like barge loading, deck handling, and working near water may apply to barge/terminal locations. Experience with heavy equipment operation is also a plus.

  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
  • Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), move up to 50 pounds, as well as the ability to wear a respirator
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends, if needed
  • Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
  • Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
  • Ability to work near or around dry/liquid fertilizers
  • Ability to work near or on water (for Barge/Terminal locations)
  • Driver’s License required for positions in specific regions only
  • Heavy equipment operator with backhoes, Payloaders, skid steers, and mini excavators
  • Successful completion of a background check
