Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and exhibit regular attendance. The job also demands the ability to meet physical requirements, including prolonged standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and at heights, bending, kneeling, climbing, working in various environmental conditions, lifting up to 50 pounds, and wearing a respirator. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends is necessary. The role requires initiative for independent work while also being adaptable to teamwork. Professionalism, a positive attitude, and the ability to work near or around fertilizers are essential. Specific duties like barge loading, deck handling, and working near water may apply to barge/terminal locations. Experience with heavy equipment operation is also a plus.
