About The Position

The Seasonal Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of goods primarily on-site at the manufacturing facility with some off-site transfers of raw materials, specifically during peak seasons. This position requires operating commercial vehicles equipped for tanker transport, adhering strictly to safety regulations and company policies. The driver will be responsible for managing delivery schedules, maintaining vehicle condition, and ensuring compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Success in this role directly impacts internal customer satisfaction and operational efficiency by delivering products securely and on time.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker Endorsement
• Proven experience operating commercial tanker vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations
• Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
• Physical ability to perform vehicle inspections and handle loading/unloading tasks as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience with hazardous materials (HazMat) endorsement is advantageous but not required
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and electronic logging devices (ELDs)
• Previous seasonal driving experience in the transportation and warehousing industry
