About The Position

The Seasonal Dock Worker will operate within the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems to pick items, maintain accuracy by verifying book titles, quantities, and item conditions, and label, scan, and sort boxes for shipping. This role requires adherence to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of safety shoes. The position is part of a 90-day evaluation period designed to support training and successful integration into the team, with a path to full-time employment through the Lakeside Temp-to-Hire Program.

Requirements

• 4 months previous distribution facility experience
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs
• Proven ability to be successful in a fast paced, seasonal, work environment
• Safety shoes required
