The Seasonal Distribution Center (DC) Associate plays a key role in the company's operations by pulling product, assisting with shipping and receiving, performing light computer tasks, operating DC equipment, and working effectively within a team. This is a seasonal, temporary position based on business necessity.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of work experience
• Experience utilizing computer systems
• Ability to operate distribution center equipment such as pallet jack, reach truck, forklift, etc.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in shipping and receiving/order picker preferred
• Proficiency with inventory/database programs and POS System knowledge preferred, Epicor NSB a plus

Responsibilities

• Pulls product for all weekly distributions to stores
• Prepares and stages orders for shipping
• Operates powered industrial forklift/reach truck to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders
• Ensures proper paperwork is completed before product is sent out to stores or events
• Back stocks all incoming freight to respective bin locations
• Assists with receiving incoming freight
• Assists with new store/event receiving and tagging
• Unloads/loads trucks
• Monitors equipment and reports problems to supervisor
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
• Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, teammates, corporate partners and vendors
• Adheres to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management
• Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance
