About The Position

This is a temporary seasonal role expected to support increased production demand. Employment is for a limited duration and does not guarantee ongoing or permanent placement. The Seasonal Distribution Associate plays a crucial short-term role in supporting warehouse and distribution operations during peak production periods. This position helps ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, inventory is handled efficiently, and products are prepared for shipment according to company standards. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions accurately, and a commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Bend, stoop, and reach to handle materials and operate equipment.
  • Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Use manual dexterity for handling products and operating equipment.
  • Maintain visual acuity for inspecting products and reading labels or written instructions.
  • Physically capable of performing the demands of a warehouse and distribution environment, including standing and walking for extended periods, frequent bending and reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working around moving machinery and varying noise levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with pallet jacks and around fork trucks preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld devices is a plus.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols in a warehouse or distribution setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily warehouse operations in one or more of the following areas: Picking: Complete pick jobs from warehouse shelves using handheld devices and WMS direction.
  • Packaging: Package items for shipment while ensuring products are protected and comply with shipping requirements.
  • Warehouse Support/Gophering: Assist with warehouse tasks including retrieving items, restocking shelves, and maintaining organized inventory.
  • Operate machinery and warehouse equipment under supervision while following safety procedures and protocols.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping goals.
  • Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance job skills and operational knowledge.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and attendance.
